James De Matteo graduated in 2009 from St. John’s College of
Professional Studies with a B.S. in Sport Management. He currently
works for the New York Yankees in the area of Premium Services. His
responsibilities include assisting, supervising, and coordinating
events with high-end professional clients on the suite level of
Yankee Stadium. These clients include Yankee alumni, politicians,
celebrities, athletes and Yankee executives such as Hal and Hank
Steinbrenner and Brian Cashman. He also coordinates autograph
signings, meet and greets, and fundraisers. While at St. John’s,
James received the 2008 St. John’s College of Professional Studies
Dean’s List Award. He supports the University by providing
assistance and advice to prospective and current St. John’s
students.
