Presentation of the Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award to
Michael A. Dorato
A triple alumnus, Michael A. Dorato received his B.S. in Pharmacy in 1971, his M.S. in Pharmacology in 1973 and his Ph.D. in Pharmacology in 1976, all from St. John’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Currently Vice President, Discovery Services at Covance Laboratories, he previously served as Inhalation Therapist at the Huntington Research Center and Executive Director, Toxicology at Eli Lilly and Company. He has received numerous professional awards, including the Lilly Research Laboratories President’s Award and the Eli Lilly and Company Chairman’s Ovation Award. Tonight, in celebration of his distinguished career in Pharmacy and on the 40th anniversary of his undergraduate graduation, St. John’s University is pleased to present the Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award to Michael A. Dorato.
