His appreciation for the value of a Catholic education coupled with an abiding love for St. John’s have put him at the forefront of efforts to raise significant funding to establish an endowed scholarship for financially disadvantaged students from Holy Cross High School, his high school alma mater, so that they can attend the University. He has been a member of The Loughlin Society for many years, and in 1995 a grateful University acknowledged his many achievements by presenting him with the Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award. In celebration of his outstanding business career, his exceptional support for the Vincentian values of caring and concern for others, and on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the receipt of his M.B.A., St. John’s University is pleased to present the President’s Medal to Robert F.
