Joseph R. Gagliano, Jr.
A double alumnus, Joseph R. Gagliano, Jr. received his B.A. magna cum laude from St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in 1982 and his J.D. cum laude from St. John’s School of Law in 1985. Currently Founder and Principal of a successful law firm and an Adjunct Professor in the School of Law, he has demonstrated exceptional devotion to alma mater by serving as volunteer Choir Director for the University’s Sunday morning liturgy, a founding Board Member and General Counsel for St. John’s Bread and Life, General Counsel for St. John’s Student Government, Inc. and a member of The Loughlin Society. A grateful University awarded him the President’s Medal in 1997. In celebration of his outstanding career, his unmatched commitment to St. John’s and the 25th anniversary of his School of Law graduation, St. John’s University is pleased to present the Pietas Medal to Joseph R. Gagliano, Jr.
