Anne Yee Fun Lin '84P, '86Pharm.D. received the Alumni
Outstanding Achievement Award of St. John’s University at the 28th
Annual Alumni Convocation on Friday, May 29, 2009.
A double alumna of St. John’s University, she received her B.S.
in Pharmacy from St. John’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 1984 and her Pharm.D. in 1986. Dr. Lin began
her professional career in pharmacy education as an Assistant
Professor at alma mater in 1987, a position she held until
her promotion to Associate Professor in 1994.
In 1996 she left St. John’s for Wilkes University, where she
served as Chair and Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Nesbitt
School of Pharmacy and Nursing. From 2004 until 2007 she was
Dean and Professor at the College of Pharmacy at Midwestern
University.
Dr. Lin then moved on to her current position at the College of
Notre Dame in Maryland, where she serves as Dean and Professor in
the School of Pharmacy.
“Everything that I have done up to this point I owe to St.
John’s,” she said. “So the fact that they are honoring me is
just unbelievable.”
The Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award is an honor reserved
for alumni who have either distinguished themselves in their
personal careers and professions or have made a significant
contribution to the life of the University.
