Athletics have always been a strong and exciting part of the St. John’s tradition, and the Office of Athletic Development makes sure it stays that way. The staff is in charge of soliciting financial gifts for all 17 of our NCAA Division I athletic programs, ensuring that each team has the proper tools and funding to reach their potential and excel on the playing field or court.

Athletic Development also coordinates and sponsors specific gatherings for alumni of each varsity sport and hosts a variety of special events, such as the Men’s Basketball Tip-Off Dinner, the Bullpen Winter Banquet and a variety of golf outings (Lou Carnesecca Golf Classic and the Bullpen Golf Outing).
 
Additionally, the Office oversees the Red White Club, an organization that works in conjunction with the University’s Department of Athletics. Athletic Development sponsors pre-game hospitality events for Red-White Club members prior to each men’s basketball game, hosts alumni pre-game receptions and is in charge of selling tickets for the Courtside Seat Program at Madison Square Garden.
