Michael is responsible for engaging alumni and friends with regards
to Gift Planning. He works closely with current members of The
McCallen Society and actively seeks to gain new members.
Additionally, he assists with the maintenance of an up-to-date
database of all gift-planning donors and prospects, the tracking of
estate gifts and correspondence with estate executors, and drafting
charitable gift annuity illustrations and agreements.
Prior to working at St. John’s, Michael was the Director of
Development for Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus. He
has also worked in development for the YMCA of Greater New York and
served as a fundraising consultant for numerous parishes in the
Archdiocese of New York and the Diocese of Brooklyn.
Michael holds a B.A. in Government and Politics from St.
John’s.
