Giscard collaborates with the Director of Institutional Advancement Communications to develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy. Additionally, he is responsible for the development and management of all forms of electronic communication, including e-mail, Web content and multimedia for the Division of Institutional Advancement. He provides video, photography, audio and text for a variety of projects, from advertising University events to reporting on them through the Alumni and Friends Web site. Prior to his current position, he served as Junior Web Producer in St. John’s Office of Marketing and Communication, where he created and updated all forms of Web content for multiple departments within the University. He also assisted in the successful launch of the redesigned RedStormSports.com. Prior to joining St. John’s he was Head Financial Associate at Citibank, where he managed main cash vault, day-to-day transactions and customer service activities of branch financial associates. He is a member of the Executive Board of the Forgotten Children of Haiti, assisting in communications strategies including web and social media, as well as event planning and management. Giscard earned his B.S. in Criminal Justice and his M.B.A. in Marketing Management from St. John’s University.
