The Dr. M. T. Geoffrey Yeh Art Gallery will be hosting an
exhibition showcasing the historic development of the Bible.
Entitled, “Crafting the Bible: From Scriptoria to Printing Houses,”
the display documents the evolution of the Bible through art and
culture, highlighting its revolutionary contributions to modern
print. One of the featured items on display is the Saint John’s
Bible – the first completely handwritten and illuminated Bible to
have been commissioned by a Benedictine Abbey since the invention
of the printing press.
