Ozanam Scholars Program

St. John’s has created a bold new program that will provide a select group of scholars with a unique and innovative learning experience.
The Ozanam Scholars Program is designed to allow students to work in small groups with dedicated faculty to contribute to solving real world problems in local, national and international communities. A cohort of Ozanam Scholars begins in freshman year with each student receiving up to a $10,000 scholarship renewable annually for the four-year program.
The Ozanam Scholars Program is for first time incoming freshman only and the application deadline has been extended to Feb. 17, 2012.

Catholic Student Scholarship

St. John's has a special commitment to preparing Catholic students for ethical leadership. Our Catholic Student Scholarship offers a limited number of awards (based on availability) to college-bound Catholic students regardless of the secondary school they attend. Awards range from $1,000 to $2,500 and is for first time incoming freshman only.

Eligible applicants must:

- Be Roman Catholic
- Have at least a B average and combined minimum SAT score of 1000 or a minimum ACT score of a 22
- Graduate from high school by June 2012
- Submit a scholarship application (including essay) to the Office of Admission by Feb. 25, 2012
- File completed FAFSA form by Feb. 15, 2012

Fine Arts Scholarship Competition
St. John’s University Department of Fine Arts is offering full and partial scholarships to Fall 2012 incoming freshmen who demonstrate a proficiency in the visual arts: drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, illustration, graphic design and photography.

NYPD Cadet Corps Scholarship

The College of Professional Studies at St. John’s University is proud to announce its partnership with the New York City Police Department to educate the future leaders of law enforcement. The NYPD Cadet program at St. John’s University is pleased to invite eligible candidates to apply for our 2011 NYPD Cadet Corps Scholarship. Sophomore year you can receive $2,500 and junior and senior year awards of up to $10,000 with a matching grant of $10,000 from the NYPD Cadet Corps are available to eligible applicants.

Eligible applicants must:

- be a new transfer student entering St. John’s in the Fall of 2012
- be a New York City resident, and
- be willing to apply to the NYPD Cadet Corps in sophomore year approaching completion of 45 credits
- be applying to the following majors: Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, Homeland and Corporate Security, or Computer Security Systems
- be criminal justice and legal studies majors

Applicants must submit the Cadet Corps Scholarship Application and their application admission by May 1, 2012. Please type of print clearly this application form, and submit with your essay of 200-300 words.

The Notre Dame College Alumnae Association Sister Helen Flynn Endowed ScholarshipThe scholarship was established with the belief that those who choose to study at the Staten Island campus--Notre Dame Division would do so in an environment conducive to Sister Helen Flynn’s ideals of service, education and faith.

The scholarship currently provides $6,000 per year of undergraduate study for the three-year or four-year degree granting program students are accepted into at the time the scholarship is awarded. Applicants must submit the Sister Helen Application and the other required materials by February 25, 2012. Please click for more information.
