St. John's offers a Bachelor of Science degree program in
toxicology through its College of Pharmacy and Allied Health
Professions -- one of the leading collegiate schools of its
kind.
A Solid Foundation
Our toxicology students gain a solid foundation in biology,
chemistry, physiology, biochemistry and pharmacology -- vital areas
for toxicologists.
They go on to master the knowledge and theories specific to
molecular biochemical, forensic, pharmaceutical, analytical,
clinical, regulatory and environmental toxicology.
Classroom Theory and Real-World
Experience
Our students combine classroom theory with real-world situations.
They attend professional meetings and work on teams to solve
realistic chemical disasters. They conduct research in
faculty labs and benefit from our student-run Toxicology Club,
which participates in Poison Control Week, the annual Toxicology
Poster Day and other community activities.
