The Bachelor of Science Degree Program in Physician Assistant
provides students with a solid foundation in the anatomical,
biological, chemical and clinical knowledge needed to practice
medicine under the supervision of a licensed physician.
The first two years provide students with a thorough grounding
in theory. Once they have mastered theory, students apply their
knowledge through supervised clinical experiences at local
hospitals, medical centers, and private practices. Students also
gain the knowledge needed to pass the Physician Assistant licensing
exam.
