Although many frown on its use in Academia, Wikipedia offers new
and fruitful ways for our students to interact with and contribute
to the world of information. This workshop will discuss various
ways that Wikipedia can be incorporated into students' research
as-signments, such as critiquing, editing, and creating Wikipedia
entries. Presenters will discuss their own experiences, and will
model techniques for effective pedagogical uses of Wikipedia.
