Using VoiceThread in Assessment
Heidi Upton
, Institute for Core Studies

VoiceThread is an interactive online tool that enables users to share their voices with the voices of others within a common context. Whether one is teaching an online, hybrid or more traditional course, VoiceThread can be a valuable addition to the educational toolbox.

In this presentation, participants will explore the use of VoiceThreads in a variety of subject content areas; evaluate strategies of assessment of student work within VoiceThreads; and in an experiential component, participants will be encouraged to create their own VoiceThreads, as well as add their voices to the VoiceThreads of others.

Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops.  If you would like to begin exploring VoiceThread go to: http://voicethread.com.
