You are invited to meet with two founding members of Mediators Beyond Borders International (MBB) to learn more about the organization and some of its projects.

Presenters
Alan Gross
Alan Gross serves as Special Projects Coordinator and Board Member for the New York Peace Institute. He has also acted as Senior Director for Safe Horizon Mediation, ombudsman for the A.P.A., arbitrator for AAA and FINRA, and mediator for the Post Office and the US Army. He is a member of MBB’s Board of Directors and teaches a graduate course in mediation skills at the NYU Center for Global Affairs.

Charlie Pillsbury
Charlie Pillsbury is a founding member and the first Executive Director of MBB since 2009. Charlie is also a member of MBB’s Colombia project team. From 1989 – 2009, Charlie was the Executive Director of Community Mediation, Inc., a nonprofit community mediation center in New Haven. He was a founding Board member of the National Association for Community Mediation in 1993, and was Co-Chair of NAFCM’s Board of Directors from 1999 – 2001. He currently is an Adjunct Professor and Distinguished Visiting Fellow, Center on Dispute Resolution, at Quinnipiac University School of Law.
