International Student Life

The St. John's Experience
Their numbers tell the story. More than 800 International Students from 80 foreign countries are pursuing their studies — and dreams — at St. John's University. Each of St. John's three residential campuses offers all the advantages of New York City, with the personal attention of a close-knit academic community. Our 100-acre Queens campus has broad lawns, tree-lined paths, handsome stone buildings, and magnificent new student residence halls.

Our Staten Island campus occupies a 19th-century estate on a bluff overlooking New York harbor. The 18.5-acre campus has neo-Georgian buildings and modern facilities, including the new Kelleher Center. Apartment-style student residences are adjacent to campus.

The Manhattan campus occupies an award-winning, 10-story building in the city's bustling Financial Center. Wall Street, Battery Park City, and the Stock Exchange are within walking distance. A limited number of student residences are available here.

St. John's also has a wooded, 110-acre campus in Oakdale, New York, and a Graduate Center in Rome, Italy.

St. John's comprises five colleges — St. John's College of Liberal Arts; the Peter J. Tobin College of Business; the School of Education; the College of Pharmacy and Allied Health; and the College of Professional Studies. We also have a School of Law.
