After successful completion of TLC, international students may begin the degree program of their choice. The Language Connection is also open to any student for full-time, part-time (day or evening), and private ESL classes.

St. John's also offers English as a Second Language classes. These courses are offered in conjunction with degree programs for students requiring additional English-language support.

Prior to enrolling at St. John's, admitted international students must take an English placement test, offered by the University, to assess their English language skills.
