Thinking Safe at All
Times
This is New York City. Observe these Precautions at all times
especially at night:
- If it is after dark, walk with a group whenever possible
- Off campus - after dark, walk without talking on a Cell Phone
or listening to your Ipod.
- Take measures to be aware of your surroundings at all
times.
- On campus - poles with red phones attached to them can be used
at any time to contact Public Safety.
- Keep your wallet secure while riding buses and subways to avoid
pickpockets
- Never ride in a regular car that says it is a taxi
- Keep the number of a taxi service in your phone for
emergencies

Medical Safety
Precautions
Immunization: all new students MUST demonstrate proof of:
- 2 Doses of measles vaccine
- 1 Dose of mumps and rubella vaccine
- Meningococcal meningitis immunization
* Failure to provide completed medical forms 30 days from the
beginning of class will result in exclusion from class.
