Jonathan Fowler, Institute for Core Studies
Many disciplines have long relied on expository textbooks as the
key sources of material and readings. Please join us as we explore
ways to introduce and use non-textbook sources into the classroom.
Whether to bring more timely material, introduce social
implications, or provide a more engaging reading experience, the
use of non-traditional books can increase student engagement in a
course. Feel free to bring any such books you use to share with the
workshop.
