New Student Guide Checklist

New Freshman & Transfer Students - Get Prepared Now

Follow our checklist to login, complete, upload and/or submit all required forms:

  • Pay your Enrollment & Housing Deposit online today via St. John's UIS
     
  • Download: 
  • Download the New Student Guide to Residence Life for Fall 2016
     
  • Upload your Final High School Transcripts, including final grades and date of graduation with your online application.
    • To upload documents after application, email them to admhelp@stjohns.edu (with contact information and XID#) or mail them to our Processing Center below.
       
  • Submit Final College Transcripts and final grades to admhelp@stjohns.edu (along with contact information and XID#) or mail them to our Processing Center below. (for transfer only)
     
  • Complete and mail the Academic Honor Pledge
     
  • Complete and submit the required health and immunization forms via the Online Patient Portal
    • Go to patient-stjohns.medicatconnect.com
    • Click "Register" from the top menu
      • If you have received your St. John's email address, we suggest using that (what precedes the @ symbol) to make things easy. If you have not received your St. John's email address, it will be first.last## (## is the two-digit year of your first semester at St. John's), i.e. john.smith16 - If you experience difficulty in submitting the health and immunization forms via the Online Patient Portal, please contact Student Health Services at 718-990-6360.
      • In the University ID field, enter your St. John's University X-ID number.
      • Enter your First Name and Last Name as you supplied on your admission materials. If you already have your StormCard, please enter your name as it appears there.
      • For Birth Date, enter your birthday in the format of mmddyyyy (for example, enter 02161998 for February 16, 1998).
    • When complete, click "Submit." You will receive an email with your unique link to set up your password.
       
  • Register Online for the mandatory Orientation
    • Complete Online Orientation: The first portion of Orientation begins with our online program. You must first register for your on-campus orientation date. Then, one week prior to your on-campus orientation date, you will receive an e-mail with instructions regarding how to complete the online portion of your orientation.
       
  • View the New Student Guide to Residence Life
     
  • Learn about the St. John's Laptop Program

Go Online for Quick and Easy Registration

Login to St. John's UIS to complete many of your online Admission registrations including Deposit Payments, Housing Application, and Roommate Questionnaire.

  • Login with your USER ID and PIN
     
  • The USER ID is your St. Johns X Number and if you are logging in for the first time your PIN is your birthday (ex. 020386 for February 3, 1986)
     
  • Select “STUDENT” then “ADMISSIONS” and then click on the options available
