Diploma in Risk and Insurance

The Program
The Diploma in Risk and Insurance (DRI) is a two semester, 24-credit program which admits students in the fall semester.  Each student takes four courses in the fall and spring semesters.  The program is in essence a “second major” for people who did not pursue Risk Management or Insurance in their undergraduate programs and wish to gain such a base of knowledge.  While an undergraduate degree is not a prerequisite for admission, most people who enroll possess a minimum of an Associate degree, significant college level study and/or industry experience.
