Global Institute for Taxation
The Global Institute for Taxation (GIFT) is a non-political organization focusing on the intellectual endeavors of scholars and professionals searching for innovative taxation systems, techniques and philosophies. The goal is to develop better fundamental tenets of taxation that will be accepted by the global community as fair and equitable.
Objectives
To foster and nurture fundamental tax reform in the global community
To provide a forum for all interested parties to examine, research and evaluate innovative public financing systems and taxation techniques
To explore financing systems and taxation techniques
To discuss existing taxation methods or systems, including methods in use around the world, which in fact are defacto taxation systems
To disseminate the intellectual efforts of contributing scholars and professionals to provide the global community with the benefit of their research
