Tobin Accounting Professor Receives “Faculty Fellowship for Recognition of Teaching Excellence” Award.

October 2007—Accounting professor Dr. Sylwia Gornik-Tomaszewski was selected to receive the PricewaterhouseCoopers “Faculty Fellowship for Recognition of Teaching Excellence” award. The recommendation for this award came from Stephen Murphy, a Partner in the New Jersey office of PricewaterhouseCoopers, and was agreed upon by Accounting Chair Dr. Victoria Shoaf and Dean of The Peter J. Tobin College of Business Steven D. Papamarcos.

 

Past recipients of this award include: James Thompson, Thomas Boyd, Patrick Colabella, Richard Coppinger, Irene McCarthy, Mary Maury, Teresa Danile, Mark Aquilio, and Adrian Fitzsimons.

 

Requirements for this award are based on the professor’s teaching style and achievement.

 

The Peter J.
