John’s University will be hosting its seventh annual Relay for Life
on April 13, 2012 in Carnesecca Arena. Hundreds of students,
faculty, administrators, and staff will participate in the
all-night walkathon, raising money to fight cancer.
(glowing memorials) will be sold and will represent individuals
affected by cancer. These memorials will light up Carnesecca Arena
for the thousands who will be participating, and last year alone
these individuals were responsible for raising approximately
ceremony begins at 6 p.m. and will be followed by the Luminaria
Ceremony and Survivor Walk at 7:00 p.m. The night will be
highlighted by several special activities and conclude at 6:00
