Apply today and travel with Dr. Linda Sama and Professor David
Grossman for 8 days to Ghana. This graduate course in Microfinance,
run in conjunction with the School of Law will focus on working
directly with an African bank to deliver small loans in an emerging
market. Ghana, located in West Africa, is known as “Africa for
beginners.” It’s a safe, peaceful and stable environment, well
known for its friendly and hospitable people. A mix of diverse
cultures, including the Ashanti, Fanti, Ga, Ewe, and Dagomba,
allows you to see women in traditional clothes chatting on cell
phones and men in suits walking farm animals. You will be working
