BS in Actuarial Science –The 130-credit degree program provides students with a broad business education as well as rigorous preparation for passing required actuarial exams leading to certification by the Society of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuarial Society. Designated as a Center of Actuarial Excellence, our outstanding actuarial program is recognized for demonstrating excellence in quality of curriculum, number and quality of graduates, qualified faculty, strong ties to business, and beneficial research and scholarship.

BS in Risk Management and Insurance – The 130 credit-hours program is designed to help students build careers in risk management and insurance. It covers subjects related not only to insurance operations but also to management of traditional and emerging risks. Students are encouraged and supported in efforts to obtain industry certifications that will enhance their career progress upon graduation.

Diploma in Risk and Insurance – A two-semester, 24 credit-hour program designed, in essence, as a "second major" for people who did not pursue Risk Management or Insurance in their undergraduate programs and wish to gain such a base of knowledge.  While an undergraduate degree is not a prerequisite for admission, most people who enroll possess a minimum of an Associate degree, significant college level study and/or industry experience.

Students meeting selective criteria are invited to join Gamma Iota Sigma, a national honorary fraternity for students majoring in Risk Management and Insurance as well as Actuarial Science. Members must have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. In addition to the recognition associated with membership in an honorary organization, members have opportunities for extensive contact and interaction with industry representatives, through the meetings and special conferences sponsored by the fraternity, and through the services offered through the Gamma Iota Sigma Grand Chapter. The objectives of the Fraternity include: to promote friendly interaction between students, faculty and Insurance executives; to foster the scientific study in the field of Insurance; to develop sound thinking in Insurance theories, and a more exact knowledge and definition of Insurance principles; and to develop a better public understanding and appreciation of Insurance problems.
