In emphasizing hand-on experience, St. John’s journalism major
offers an extensive internship program. Student interns receive
academic credit for their work at professional newspapers,
magazines, public relations firms, advertising agencies, wire
services, television or radio stations, broadcast networks or
Internet news sites.
