The College of Professional Studies Dean’s Lecture Series
presented Jilliane Hoffman, a St. John’s University and School of
Law graduate and an internationally best selling author of
Retribution and Last Witness.
Ms. Hoffman spoke to St. John’s students on March 26 describing
her Professors as inspiring her to attend law school. She
explained the enormous amount of time she spends researching for
her books. The movie rights to Retribution have been
sold to Warner Brothers. Her next book A Plea of
Insanity will be at bookstores this summer. Ms. Hoffman's
parents are also both St. John's University alumni and Loughlin
Society members.
