The College of Professional Studies held its annual fall internship
fair on October 31st. Approximately 500 students attended the
four-hour event. Forty-six companies and organizations came
with materials and giveaways for the students. One
organization representative searching for interns at the fair was
St. John’s alumna Kathleen Bihn, program manager at the Road
McDonald House of Long Island. She reports that the fair
“assisted in our internship recruitment process as we hope to bring
one or two St. John’s students on for Spring 2008.” She also
expressed her admiration for the efforts being made by CPS to
secure these opportunities for students.
