Professor Linda Chin in the Division of Criminal Justice and Legal
Studies conducted a workshop on “Employment Law” to the Directors
of the Chinese American Planning Council, Inc. on April 6,
2007. The Chinese American Planning Council is the largest
Social Service Agency in the east coast that provides child care,
mental health services, services to senior citizens, and a range of
other services to the Asian communities throughout New York.

Dean's Office
The CPS Awards Ceremony was held on Tuesday, April 17, 2007
in Marillac Terrace. Over 100 of our students were recognized
for academic and service-related achievements. The evening
consisted of a dinner followed by the awards ceremony and was
attended by over 400 students, family, faculty, administrators and
staff.
Staten Island Campus
- College of Professional Studies held a deans reception for
incoming freshman.
- Sophomore Barbecue in which the deans met and welcomed incoming
sophomores.
- Participated in a NYPD college fair to recruit for the Criminal
Justice Leadership Program.
- All Staten Island CPS faculty and staff attended CPS awards
dinner.
