St. John’s University and New York
Campus Compact are co-hosting an Institute
on Academic Service-Learning encompassing all levels of
education from K through Higher Education.
This one day institute will benefit those who want to explore
and/or deepen their understanding and use of service-learning.
Meet, collaborate and network with your peers while gaining
invaluable hands-on lesson planning experience.
The Institute is open to all full time and part time faculty,
undergraduate/graduate students enrolled in an education program
and administrators who teach. Completion of the program will result
in certification in academic service-learning.
Held at the Staten
Island campus, Keirnan Suite of the Kelleher Center, the cost
for the one-day class is $65.
