The career-oriented baccalaureate degree program combines a professional education in the field of sport management with a substantial amount of course work in the liberal arts and in business. The course content is interdisciplinary in nature, blending the social sciences with the professional courses such as Introduction to Sport Management, Health Sciences for Coaches, Advertising, Legal Aspects, Current Issues in Sports and Facilities Management.

Major Area Requirements
37 minimum credits in Sport Management (SPM)

  • 27 credits must be in SPM coursework exclusive of:
  • SPM 1007, SPM 1020, SPM 1021: Internships in Sports Management and CAS 1100: Career Horizons
