Entertainment is the second largest revenue-producing industry
in New York City and State. In the city, media and entertainment
gained 10,500 jobs last year — a 6.6 percent boost. Movie
production was up 10 percent, and broadcasting added 1,700 jobs.

20 years.

Professional Studies, the 126-credit program in Television and
Film provides in-depth knowledge of and experience
in fields such as advertising, media graphics, film,
journalism, public relations, publishing, television and video
production. Students also take courses in hands-on production,
media writing, industry organization and procedures, media history
and aesthetics.
