Learn Filmmaking and Acting at the New York
Film Academy and Earn Credits Towards Your Bachelor's Degree from
St. John's University
St. John's University's
articulation
agreement with the
New York Film Academy (NYFA) will offer students who have
completed the one-year Filmmaking Program at the NYFA with
the chance to apply those credits to a Bachelor of Science in
Television and Film. Students transferring from the New York
Film Academy will receive 36 credits towards their bachelor’s
degree. To complete the program they will have to take 90
additional credits through the College of Professional Studies’
Television Studies program.
The New York Film Academy has two Manhattan campuses located in
Soho and Union Square, and a campus at Universal Studios in Los
Angeles where the one-year filmmaking program may be
completed.
