Objectives

The B.S. Degree in Public Relations prepares students for success by achieving these critical objectives:

  •  Integrating course work in news writing, advertising, copywriting, new media writing, presentation design and graphic design with concepts and theories from law, ethics, business and marketing to provide a comprehensive approach to learning the profession
  • Providing a solid foundation in core business and academic skills including research, business writing, problem solving, critical thinking, interpersonal and group communication, information design and corporate project management
