Moderator, Dr. Angelo
Dr. Angelo Pisani has had
a long and distinguished career in Criminal Justice. Some of the
positions he has held are Police Officer (NYPD), Fire Fighter
(FDNY), Fire Marshal (FDNY), Coordinator of the NYC Arson Strike
Force (Mayor's Office), Deputy Commissioner (Parking Violations
Bureau), Deputy Commissioner (Department of Investigations) and
Deputy Commissioner (Emergency Medical Services).
Dr. Pisani holds a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the City
University of New York. He joined St. John's University in
1991, and is currently an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice.
He is also Director of the Undergraduate and Graduate Criminal
Justice Programs, and Moderator of the Criminal Justice Association
and the Criminal Justice Honor Society.
President, Linda Chavez
Linda Chavez is
a Senior, majoring in Criminal Justice. In addition to her position
as President, Linda is also a member of the Pre-Law Society. As a
Junior, Linda served as Vice-President for the Association. After
graduation, Linda hopes to pursue a career in criminal justice.
Treasurer, Latisha Brown
Latisha is a Senior, majoring in Criminal Justice. In addition to
her position as Treasurer, Latisha also works in the Office of
Student Life and is a member of the St. John's University Choir. As
a Junior, Latisha served as Treasurer for the Association. In her
spare time, Latisha enjoys singing with her friends.
Public Relations, John
John Bronski is a Junior,
majoring in Criminal Justice. In addition to his position as Public
Relations Officer, John is also a member of the Saint Vincent De
Paul Society. As a Freshman, John served as Project Manager for the
Association. After graduation, John would like to work with U.S.
Customs, while pursuing a career with the Federal Bureau of
Investigations. John is also a devoted Yankees fan.
