Profile
Professor Lushing has been teaching full time at St. John’s
University since 1975. She has served as an attorney for
indigent defendants and has been an attorney with the New York City
Police Department. Professor Lushing continues to serve as a
hearing officer and mediator for various criminal justice agencies
in the New York Metropolitan area. A former Fulbright and
Pomeroy Scholar, Professor Lushing is a member of the American Bar
Association and the Fulbright Society.
