The Mission of the Minor Area of Concentration in Business
Administration, offered by the Division of Administration and
Economics of the College of Professional Studies, is to provide an
excellent education in several selected disciplines of business
administration, namely Accounting, Management, Business Law,
Marketing, and Finance, to specific groups of baccalaureate degree
students. These students are pursuing Professional Studies
majors within the College of Professional Studies and choose, or in
some instances*, are required to complete proscribed courses in
business administration as part of their programs of study.
Courses are taught with this orientation to Professional Studies in
mind so that wherever possible, examples and applications are used
during classes which are specific to the Professional Studies
majors.
