Professional Studies Review (PSR) welcomes the
submission of articles on any area of professional studies or
career-oriented disciplines. Articles should provide readers with
new and valuable research results, stimulate their thinking about
developments in their fields, and perhaps provide a critical forum
for further discussion and scholarship. Scholars may also explore
issues that cut across specialized boundaries, that consider
teaching philosophies and methods, or that challenge traditional
viewpoints. All critical approaches of interest will be
considered.
- Please submit your article as a Microsoft Word file attachment
to marottaj@stjohns.edu.
- Your article should be accompanied by a statement indicating
that the article is not under consideration by another journal or
publisher.
- Articles should be double-spaced, and should adhere to the
manuscript conventions of the American Psychological Association,
(5th ed.) Style Manual.
- Articles are reviewed blindly by referees, so please do not
include identifying information except on the cover page. The cover
page should include the academic or professional title (if any),
name of the author(s), academic or professional address, telephone
number, email address, and a brief biographic statement. A second
page should present an abstract of the article in no more than 100
words. Do not number the cover page or abstract page.
- Articles should not exceed 6000 words maximum in length
(approximately 12 to 20 manuscript pages, including charts, tables,
photographs, and references).
PSR reserves the right to make editorial changes when
necessary (e.g. for space requirements). Contributors of published
articles will receive a complimentary copy of the issue that
contains their articles, as well as the opportunity for
reprints.
