Objectives

The Radiologic Technology Program prepares students to become qualified radiologic technologists through an education combining theory and hands-on clinical experience.
The didactic and clinical curricula are designed to develop and enhance effective communication skills, technical skills and professional/ethical conduct in order to
perform radiographic procedures.

Graduates will:

  • Demonstrate a well rounded knowledge and understanding of radiography by mastering both the didactic and clinical portions of the program.
  • Exhibit patient care skills by embracing the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct while effectively using their communication skills to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection to provide a safe imaging environment for the patient, themselves and other healthcare professionals.
  • Learn how to produce quality images that aid in the diagnosis of patients.
