Basic Cardiac Life Support [BCLS] Original Course

This one-day BCLS Health-care provider Course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages (including performing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO).

It's intended for certified or non certified, licensed or non licensed health-care professionals who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital.

All American Heart Association Courses are followed by the new updated guidelines.

None

Basic Cardiac Life Support Renewal Course
This is an approximate four to six hour program designed to update and renew BCLS health-care provider skills.

Prerequisite
Providers who intend to take a renewal course MUST show a current BCLS Health care Provider Card as entrance into a renewal course.

Registration Information
All BCLS Original and Renewal Courses for the rest of 2007 will be on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.  Pre-registration is required at least 2 weeks in advance.
