Access to and the provision of quality medical and
pharmaceutical care is typically limited for the indigent and
marginalized of society. This loss of care often leads to social
isolation and potentially devastating healthcare consequences such
as increased morbidity and mortality.
Dr. Conry has focused much of his research efforts on
identifying, resolving and preventing drug-related problems among
the indigent and HIV-infected patient populations of New York City.
He is especially interested in delineating the role of the
pharmacist in serving this important patient population in order to
provide them with optimal medical care. Dr. Conry currently serves
as a fellow of the Vincentian Center of St. John's University.
