Academic Offerings
St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences offers over thirty undergraduate majors and forty minors. In addition, Special Combined Degree Programs are designed to offer qualified students the opportunity to earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree within five years of full-time study. Such combined degree programs are available in Asian Studies, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, English, Government and Politics, History, Mathematics, Sociology, Spanish, and Theology and Religious Studies.

The College, in conjunction with the School of Law, offers the Government and Politics/Law B.A./J.D., a program that provides outstanding students with the opportunity to attain the Bachelor of Arts degree and the Juris Doctor degree in six years. In the pre-engineering area, St. John’s College offers a highly attractive 3-2 cooperative program with the School of Engineering at Manhattan College (Riverdale, NY). Pre-engineering students study liberal arts, sciences, and mathematics for three years at St. John’s College, followed by two years of undergraduate engineering courses in one of five engineering fields resulting in a B.S. in Physical Science from St. John’s and a B.S. in Engineering from Manhattan College.

On the Graduate level, twenty degree programs, as well as Advanced Certificate courses are available.
