Competition finalists will argue these cutting-edge Fourth
Amendment issues before a distinguished panel of judges:
- Whether an unauthorized driver of a rental vehicle has standing
to contest a search of that vehicle
- Whether the Government is allowed to rely on the plain view
doctrine to legally open and seize computer files not specifically
authorized by a search warrant
