Bachelor of Arts in Speech, Language and Hearing

Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists are the professionals who work with people with communicative disorders like stuttering, aphasia, or speech, language and hearing problems. They work in schools, hospitals, private practices, home health care agencies, laboratories, and universities.

St. John's 40-credit hour undergraduate program in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology is a pre-professional training program designed to prepare students for graduate work and ultimate employment as a certified or licensed Speech-Language Pathologist or Audiologist. Upon completion of this program, the student is afforded the opportunity to apply for graduate study in our State Licensure-approved Master of Arts program which meets the requirements for ASHA certification. Our internationally and nationally distinguished faculty teach in both the undergraduate and graduate programs.
