Dr. Lu teaches undergraduate physics and mathematics for
physical sciences. She is a biological physicist interested in
interfacing nano-materials with biological systems.
Her research has covered the interactions between carbon
nanotubes and biomolecules; diffusion of solubilized carbon
nanotubes in aqueous solution; cellular uptake of carbon nanotubes;
and transmission of photon energy through carbon nanotube
arrays.
