PHY 3250: Optics

Prerequisites
PHY 1620 or PHY 1940; and Calculus or PHY 1950

The optics of lenses and mirrors, cameras, corrective lenses, telescopes, magnifiers, microscopes. Wave theory of light, with applications: interferometry, diffraction patterns, polarization, spectroscopy, dispersion, fiber optics, holography.
