Each Spring, the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of St. John's Univ. provides an emphasis day of mathematics and computer science events to young women from New York City, Long Island and nearby communities. Invited speakers and members of the St. John's Faculty inspire participants to enter careers in Theoretical and Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science and Computer Science.
