The Curriculum

The Bachelor’s Degree Program in History comprises 36 semester hours that cover major topics in world history: the introductory courses HIS 1010 and HIS 1000-C, six credits in U.S. history, six credits in European history, six credits in non-Western history, a three-credit research seminar or colloquium in the junior or senior year and nine elective hours in courses offered by the department.

Core Curriculum
This baccalaureate degree utilizes the University's Common and Distributed Core Curriculum for satisfying 48 credits of the degree.
