The Bachelor’s Degree Program in History comprises 36 semester
hours that cover major topics in world history: the introductory
courses HIS 1010 and HIS 1000-C, six credits in U.S. history, six
credits in European history, six credits in non-Western history, a
three-credit research seminar or colloquium in the junior or senior
year and nine elective hours in courses offered by the
department.
