Welcome to the Department of Communication Sciences and
Disorders of the St. John's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
The Department offers academic programs in both Speech-Language
Pathology and Audiology. Speech-Language Pathologists are
professionals who assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent
disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication,
voice, swallowing, and fluency. Audiologists are professionals who
diagnose, treat and help prevent hearing and balance problems. Both
professions require a graduate degree for entry into the respective
fields.
